Lamentations | A Lenten Journey

God’s grace is amazing and so we often fail to consider just how truly devastating is our unfaithfulness to Him. As we experience how the effects of the Fall continue to play out in our lives and in the world around us, it is appropriate to grieve such a great loss. In the book of Lamentations, five poems serve as eulogies over the fall of Jerusalem and the sinfulness of God’s people - a great acknowledgement of the pain of loss - but also a call to hope again in the enduring faithfulness of our God whose mercies are new every morning. Designed for a Lenten Season this is a journey through these lamentations where we remind ourselves of the great hope that comes through what Jesus has done for us on the cross and continues to do for us in his glorious resurrection.
