GET TO KNOW NEW CITY

New City Church is an eight year old church planted in the heart of Gwinnett County, just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. We have grown from a handful of folks meeting in the pastor's living room, to a vibrant church plant gathering in a middle school gymnasium, to a fully established church in our own facility for the past two years. The PCA is our denominational home and we are also a member of the Acts 29 Church Planting Network.

The vision of NCC is to live as the family of God, together proclaiming and demonstrating the gospel of grace to one another and our city. One of our core values is that we are planted & planting. We began through a residency program - with the full support of a sending church and within two vital church planting networks (Acts 29 and Metro Atlanta Collective). It is our great desire to come alongside a church planter as he answers God's call to bring together people of God as a new body within the universal Church.

He will report directly to the Worship & Residencies Pastor.

The Church Planting Resident will be in the role of Lead Pastor within the church he plants. We believe that a Lead Pastor reflects the role of the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ. As such, his mission is accomplished through a three pronged focus:
